## Biography

Jim O'Heir is an American actor born on 4 February 1962 in Chicago, Illinois. He was active in Chicago theatre during the 1980s and 1990s, performing with the group White Noise in productions including The Book of Blanche, Stumpy's Gang and Ad-Nauseam, and trained at Second City.

O'Heir has made guest appearances in series such as Friends (1994), Malcolm in the Middle (2000), The Mentalist (2008) and Brooklyn Nine-Nine (2013). He had a regular role as Harvey Krudup in the Comedy Central series Strip Mall (2000). Since 2009 he has played Jerry Gergich, a recurring then series regular character, in the NBC comedy Parks and Recreation.
