## Biography

Jim Williams is a British composer and guitarist. He has composed scores for feature films including four directed by Ben Wheatley: *Down Terrace* (2009), *Kill List* (2011), *Sightseers* (2012) and *A Field in England* (2013).

His other film work includes Julia Ducournau’s *Raw* (2016) and *Titane* (2021), *Beast* (2018), Brandon Cronenberg’s *Possessor* (2020), *Resurrection* (2022) and *House of Spoils* (2024). His score for *Raw* received a César Award nomination for Best Original Music, and the score for *Beast* a BIFA nomination for Best Music.

Williams has also composed for British television series including *Auf Wiedersehen, Pet*, *Hotel Babylon*, *Lock, Stock...* and *Minder*, and received an Ivor Novello Award nomination for his work on *Hotel Babylon*.
