Jo Kendall (17 February 1940 – 29 January 2022) was a British actress. She appeared as Annie in the 1992 film *Howards End* and as the publican's wife in *The Remains of the Day* (1993). Other film roles include the matron in *Scum* (1979).

Kendall was known for her work in BBC radio comedy, notably as the only woman in the cast of *I'm Sorry, I'll Read That Again*. On television she played Peggy Skilbeck in the early episodes of *Emmerdale Farm* (1972–1973), delivering the programme's first line of dialogue. She trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama.
