Joan Binder Weiss is an American television screenwriter and producer. She wrote five episodes of *Gilmore Girls* (2000) across its first two seasons and served as story editor and executive story editor on the series.

Her other writing credits include episodes of *Everwood* (2002), *White Collar* (2009), *Unforgettable* (2011), *Eureka* (2006), *Journeyman* (2007) and *Sabrina, the Teenage Witch* (1996). She has also worked as a producer on several of these series. Weiss is married to television writer David S. Weiss.
