Her credited roles include Eulalie Boyles in *The Yearling* (1946) and Sally Hessler as a Girl in *Till the Clouds Roll By* (1946). She had uncredited parts as Phyllis as a child in *She-Wolf of London* (1946), Nancy aged 12 in *High Barbaree* (1947), Shirley in *The Judge Steps Out* (1948) and Susie in *In the Good Old Summertime* (1949).

Wells later appeared in the television series *The Stu Erwin Show* (1952).
