Jodie Copelan (born Joseph B. Caplan) was an American film and television editor and occasional director. He was born on 6 January 1914 in Los Angeles, California, and died on 10 November 1977 in Beverly Hills, California. He began working as an assistant editor in the early 1930s and received his first editing credit on the 1947 film *The Guilty*.

Over three decades, Copelan edited dozens of B-movies and television episodes. His credits include *Kronos* (1957), *Night Tide* (1961), multiple episodes of *The Fugitive* (1963), *12 O'Clock High* (1964–1967), *The Invaders* (1967–1968) and *Mission: Impossible* (1969), as well as *Laserblast* (1978). He also directed the 1958 Western *Ambush at Cimarron Pass* and episodes of several television series. He was married to Lillian Schleifer from 1949 until his death and received a Primetime Emmy nomination for his editing work.
