Joe Ann Fogle is a film and television editor, director and producer. She began her career as an editor, working on series including *Hill Street Blues* (1981) and *L.A. Law* (1986), as well as the feature film *Three O'Clock High* (1987).

She later directed episodes of series such as *NYPD Blue* (1993), *Doogie Howser, M.D.* (1989), *Gilmore Girls* (2000) and *Dark Angel* (2000). Fogle also served as a producer on shows including *Murder One* (1995) and *Dark Angel*.

In 1991 she won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Editing for a Series (Single Camera Production) for her work on *Cop Rock*.
