## Biography

Joe Frazier was an American actor and former boxer. Credited at times as Smokin' Joe Frazier, he appeared as himself in the documentary *Tokyo Olympiad* (1965) and later took roles in feature films such as *Rocky* (1976) and *Just the Ticket* (1998).

On television he appeared in episodes of *The Jeffersons* (1975) and provided voice work for *The Simpsons* (1989). He was born in Beaufort, South Carolina, and died in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
