## Biography

Joe Klotz is an American film editor. He trained at Syracuse University and began his career as a television editor in New York City, later working on sketch comedy series including *Upright Citizens Brigade* and *Chappelle's Show*.

His feature credits include *Junebug* (2005), *Grace Is Gone* (2007), *Choke* (2008) and *Rabbit Hole* (2010). He edited three films directed by Lee Daniels: *Precious: Based on the Novel 'Push' by Sapphire* (2009), for which he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Film Editing, *The Paperboy* (2012) and *The Butler* (2013). Other notable work includes the *To All the Boys* trilogy (2018–2021), *Motherless Brooklyn* (2019) and *Love at First Sight* (2023). Klotz is a member of the American Cinema Editors.
