## Biography

Joe Locke (born Joseph William Locke, 24 September 2003) is a Manx actor. He is known for his lead role as Charlie Spring in the Netflix series *Heartstopper* (2022–2024) and its concluding film *Heartstopper Forever* (2026), for which he also serves as an executive producer.

Locke made his screen debut in *Heartstopper* after an open casting call. He has also starred as Billy Maximoff / Wiccan in the Disney+ series *Agatha All Along* (2024). On stage, he made his Broadway debut as Tobias Ragg in the revival of *Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street* (2024) and his West End debut in *Clarkston* (2025). He received two Children's and Family Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Lead Performance for *Heartstopper*, winning in 2025, and was nominated for a Film Independent Spirit Award for *Agatha All Along*.
