## Biography

Joe Pitt is an animator, character designer and director. He directed twelve episodes of the Disney animated series *Gravity Falls* (2012–2014) and served as character designer on fourteen episodes.

A graduate of the California Institute of the Arts, Pitt has contributed visual development and character design to films including *Wreck-It Ralph* (2012), *Winnie the Pooh* (2011), *The Croods: A New Age* (2020) and *Orion and the Dark* (2024). He has also worked on the series *Steven Universe* and *Mickey Mouse* (2013), and is married to animator Clio Chiang.
