Joel Fields is an American television producer and writer. He served as showrunner and writer on the FX series *The Americans* (2013–2018), which he co-created with Joseph Weisberg.

Fields has also written for and produced series including *Rizzoli & Isles* (2010), *Fosse/Verdon* (2019) and *The Patient* (2022). He received a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series for his work on *The Americans*.
