## Biography

Joel Froome is an Australian cinematographer. He began working in the camera department and served as clapper loader on the film *Australia* (2008). He studied cinematography at the Australian Film School.

Froome has worked as director of photography on feature films including *I Am Human* (2019), *A Chance Encounter* (2022) and *The Yeti* (2026). He is based in Buffalo, New York, and is a member of the Australian Cinematographers Society and the New Zealand Cinematographers Society.
