Joey Elkins is a screenwriter whose credits include work on the Netflix series *Outer Banks* (2020–). He has contributed as staff writer, story editor, executive story editor, and on story and teleplay for multiple episodes.

His earlier credits include writing the short film *Reservations* (2003) and several television films such as *Unlocking Christmas* (2020), *Love on Iceland* (2020), *Autumn in the City* (2022) and *Game of Love* (2023). He has also worked in script coordination and continuity on series including *Shadowhunters* (2017), *Blood & Treasure* (2019–2022) and *Outer Banks*.
