John Andreas Andersen is a Norwegian cinematographer and director. Born on 23 October 1971 in Flekkefjord, he began working in the camera department and served as assistant camera to cinematographer Sven Nykvist before attending the American Film Institute, from which he graduated in 1998.

As director of photography, Andersen has worked on feature films including *King of Devil's Island* (2010) and *Headhunters* (2011). He has won several awards for cinematography, including Kanon Prizes and an Amanda Award. He later moved into directing, with credits including episodes of the series *Occupied* (2015) and the features *The Quake* (2018), *The Burning Sea* (2021) and *Number 24* (2024).
