## Biography

John Asbridge is a British production designer who has worked extensively in television. He studied at the Central School of Art and Design, where a visit from a BBC designer inspired his interest in television design.

He is best known for his long-running work as production designer on the BBC series *Jonathan Creek* (1997–2014). Other credits include *Doctor Who* (1987–1988), *One Foot in the Grave* (1990–1996), *New Tricks* (2008–2011), *Love Soup* (2005–2008) and *The Inspector Lynley Mysteries* (2006). He received a BAFTA nomination for his work.
