## Biography

John Branca is an American entertainment attorney and producer. He is a partner and head of the music department at the Los Angeles law firm Ziffren Brittenham, and has represented numerous rock and roll acts. He serves as co-executor of the Estate of Michael Jackson.

Branca has acted as executive producer on several Michael Jackson projects, including *This Is It* (2009), *When You're Strange* (2009), *Bad 25* (2012), *Michael Jackson's Journey from Motown to Off the Wall* (2016) and *Thriller 40* (2023). He is a producer on the 2026 biopic *Michael*.

He graduated from Occidental College and UCLA Law School. Branca has also produced the Broadway musical *MJ*.
