## Biography

John Conroy is an Irish cinematographer. Born on 26 January 1969, he began working in the camera department as a teenager and progressed through roles including clapper loader and focus puller on features such as *Braveheart* (1995), *The Da Vinci Code* (2006) and *The Bourne Ultimatum* (2007).

He has served as director of photography on series including *Luther* (2010–), *Penny Dreadful* (2014–2016), *Westworld* (2016–), *Wednesday* (2022–) and *Fallout* (2024–). Conroy is a member of the American Society of Cinematographers and the Irish Society of Cinematographers. His father, Jack Conroy, was also a cinematographer.
