John Corbett is an American actor and singer. Born John Joseph Corbett Jr. on 9 May 1961 in Wheeling, West Virginia, he began his career with a guest role in the series *The Wonder Years* (1988). He had previously worked in a steel mill before studying hairdressing and taking acting classes.

His breakthrough came playing Chris Stevens, a radio disc jockey, in the CBS series *Northern Exposure* (1990–1995), for which he received Primetime Emmy and Golden Globe nominations. He is also known for the role of Aidan Shaw in *Sex and the City* (2000–2003) and as Ian Miller in *My Big Fat Greek Wedding* (2002) and its sequels.

Corbett has appeared in films including *Tombstone* (1993), *Serendipity* (2001) and the *To All the Boys I've Loved Before* trilogy (2018–2021). He married actress Bo Derek in 2020.
