John Craven (1916–1995) was an American actor who worked in theatre, film and television. Born in New York City, he was the son of actor Frank Craven and came from a theatrical family spanning three generations.

He began his career on Broadway in the 1930s and originated the role of George Gibbs in the original stage production of *Our Town* (1938), appearing alongside his father. His film roles included Tobey George in *The Human Comedy* (1943). He appeared in numerous other films and television series, often in supporting or uncredited parts, with credits extending into the 1970s.
