## Biography

John Densmore is an American musician and actor. He was the drummer for the rock band The Doors from its formation in 1965 until the death of singer Jim Morrison in 1971.

Densmore has appeared in several films and television series. He played the role of Engineer - Last Session in the 1991 biographical film *The Doors* and portrayed Ben in an episode of *Beverly Hills, 90210* (1992). He is also featured in archive footage as himself in the 2010 documentary *When You're Strange*.
