## Biography

John Eisendrath is an American television writer and producer. He began his career in journalism, working as a producer at WBBM-TV in Chicago before moving into scripted television in the late 1980s.

He contributed as a writer to series including *Beverly Hills, 90210* (1990), *Felicity* (1998) and *Alias* (2001), on which he also served as executive producer. Eisendrath created and acted as showrunner for *Playmakers* (2003), *Outlaw* (2010) and *The Blacklist* (2013), and has worked on *Alert: Missing Persons Unit* (2023). He has maintained a long association with producer J. J. Abrams.

Eisendrath is a Brown University alumnus and has taught screenwriting there. He is married to writer Jennifer Levin.
