John F. Link Sr. (22 March 1901 – 8 April 1968) was an American film editor. Born in Alabama, he began his career editing short films in the early 1930s before moving to feature films.

Link edited over thirty films across three decades. His best-known credit is the 1943 adaptation of *For Whom the Bell Tolls*, for which he shared an Academy Award nomination for Best Film Editing with Sherman Todd. Other credits include *The Great Flamarion* (1945) and *Gold Fever* (1952).

His son, John F. Link Jr., also worked as a film editor.
