John Farrell, also credited as J.P. Farrell or John P. Farrell, is a film and television editor and producer. He worked as an editor on the television series *Star Trek: The Next Generation* (1987–1994), *Star Trek: Deep Space Nine* (1993–1996), *Star Trek: Voyager* (1995–1996) and *Star Trek: Enterprise* (2001), later serving as producer or co-producer on the latter three series.

Farrell received an Emmy Award nomination in 1994 for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Editing for a Series – Single Camera Production, for his work on the *Star Trek: The Next Generation* episode "All Good Things...". Earlier credits as editor include the television films *Maid in America* (1982), *North Beach and Rawhide* (1985), *The Christmas Gift* (1986), *Ladykillers* (1988) and *K-9000* (1991), as well as episodes of *Fame* (1985–1986). He also worked as associate producer on the series *Hooperman* (1988–1989).
