John Fawcett is a Canadian director, writer and producer of film and television. Born on 5 March 1968 in Edmonton, Alberta, he began his career directing commercials and music videos before making short films and his feature debut, *The Boys Club* (1996).

He is known for directing and co-writing the horror film *Ginger Snaps* (2000) and for co-creating, with Graeme Manson, the series *Orphan Black* (2013–2017), on which he also served as executive producer and director. Fawcett has directed episodes of *Xena: Warrior Princess* (1995), *Spartacus* (2010), *Titans* (2018), *The Man in the High Castle* (2015) and other series.
