John Glover is an American actor. He was born on 7 August 1944 and attended Towson University. He began his career in theatre, performing at the Barter Theatre in Virginia before studying at the Beverly Hills Playhouse.

Glover is known for a range of character roles, often villains, in film and television. His credits include Dr. Jason Woodrue in *Batman & Robin* (1997), Lionel Luthor in *Smallville* (2001–2011), Daniel Clamp in *Gremlins 2: The New Batch* (1990) and Mr. Sivana in *Shazam!* (2019). He has also voiced the Riddler in *Batman: The Animated Series* and appeared in *Annie Hall* (1977) and *RoboCop 2* (1990).
