## Biography

John Holmquist is an American animator, director, designer and storyboard artist. He has directed numerous episodes of the animated series *Family Guy* since 2000, including 'Running Mates', 'Airport '07', 'Stewie Kills Lois' and many others through recent seasons.

Holmquist worked extensively with Klasky Csupo on *Rugrats*, serving as a director and character designer on multiple episodes from the 1990s into the early 2000s, as well as contributing to related projects. In 2003 he received a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Children's Animated Program for his work on the series. His other credits include directing on *Father of the Pride* and storyboard or design work on films such as *Despicable Me*.
