John Hooper is a British cinematographer whose credits span television drama and feature films from the 1960s onwards.

He worked as director of photography on the first series of *Lovejoy* (1986) and on the BBC television film *A Question of Attribution* (1991), directed by John Schlesinger. Other notable credits include *The Advocate* (1993), *Monarch of the Glen* (2000) and episodes of *Dalziel and Pascoe*.
