## Biography

John Hudson (also credited as Jonathan C. Hudson) was an American actor. Born in Gilroy, California, he served as a second lieutenant in the US Army Air Forces during the Second World War before beginning his acting career.

He appeared in supporting roles in films including *Silver Lode* (1954) as Michael 'Mitch' Evans, *Gunfight at the O.K. Corral* (1957) as Virgil Earp and *G.I. Blues* (1960) as Captain Hobart. His television work included guest appearances in series such as *I Dream of Jeannie* and *Adam-12*. He also performed on Broadway in productions including *Junior Miss* and *Craig's Wife*.

Hudson was married to actress Mary LaRoche from 1942 to 1947. He died in Los Angeles in 1996.
