## Biography

John Ingle (7 May 1928 – 16 September 2012) was an American actor. Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, he graduated from Occidental College and taught drama at Hollywood High School and Beverly Hills High School until his retirement in 1985, after which he began a professional acting career.

He is known for playing Edward Quartermaine on the soap opera *General Hospital* from 1993 to 2012, and for voicing Mr Threehorn (Cera's father) in several *Land Before Time* films. His other credits include the films *Heathers* (1989), *RoboCop 2* (1990), *Death Becomes Her* (1992) and *Batman & Robin* (1997), as well as guest roles in series such as *Beverly Hills, 90210*, *Cheers* and *The Office*.
