## Biography

John J. Ordover is an American writer and editor. He worked at Pocket Books from 1992 to 2003, overseeing the publisher's line of Star Trek licensed novels.

With David Mack, Ordover received story credit on the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "It's Only a Paper Moon" (1998) and co-wrote the teleplay for "Starship Down" (1995). He is the co-creator of several Star Trek novel series, including Star Trek: New Frontier (with Peter David) and Star Trek: Starfleet Corps of Engineers (with Keith R. A. DeCandido).

Ordover also co-edited the first seven volumes of the Star Trek: Strange New Worlds anthology series. In 2000 he received the Psi Phi Award for Lifetime Achievement.
