## Biography

John Kassir is an American actor and comedian. He was born on 24 October 1957 in Baltimore, Maryland.

Kassir is known for voicing the Cryptkeeper in the HBO series *Tales from the Crypt* (1989–1996) and its related films. He originated the role of Ralph in the off-Broadway musical *Reefer Madness* and reprised it in the 2005 film adaptation *Reefer Madness: The Movie Musical*. He has provided voices for numerous animated films and series, including Meeko in *Pocahontas* (1995) and its sequel, additional voices in *Monsters University* (2013) and *Minions* (2015), and Scrooge McDuck in the *Mickey Mouse* series from 2016.
