John LaMotta was an American actor. He was born on 8 January 1939 in Brooklyn, New York, and died on 29 January 2014 in Los Angeles, California.

LaMotta appeared in numerous television series from the 1970s onwards. He played Trevor Ochmonek in the sitcom *ALF* (1986–1990) and Duke in two episodes of *Frasier* (1994 and 1998). His other credits include roles in *Knight Rider* (1982), *American Ninja* (1985), *ER* (1994), *Northern Exposure* (1994) and *Vampire in Brooklyn* (1995). He was the nephew of boxer Jake LaMotta.
