## Biography

John Lehne (1925–2007) was an American actor. He appeared in supporting roles in several 1970s feature films and made numerous guest appearances on television series.

His film credits include Gilbert in *Serpico* (1973), Andy Bush in *Family Plot* (1976) and Locke in *Bound for Glory* (1976). He also appeared in *F.I.S.T.* (1978) and *Ladies and Gentlemen, the Fabulous Stains* (1982). On television he had recurring or guest roles in series including *Dallas*, *Knots Landing*, *Matlock*, *Moonlighting* and *Beauty and the Beast*.

Lehne directed a production of Tennessee Williams’s play *Period of Adjustment* at the Paper Mill Playhouse in New Jersey.
