## Biography

John Morris is an American screenwriter and producer. He began his career writing the 2005 independent film *Never Been Thawed* and went on to work on a series of studio comedies.

Morris has collaborated extensively with director Sean Anders. Their joint credits include the screenplays for *We're the Millers* (2013), *Daddy's Home* (2015), *Daddy's Home 2* (2017), *Instant Family* (2018) and *Spirited* (2022). He also served as producer on several of these projects, including *Instant Family*.
