## Biography

John Myhre is an American production designer. He has worked in Hollywood since the late 1980s and received his first Academy Award nomination for Best Art Direction for *Elizabeth* (1998).

Myhre frequently collaborates with director Rob Marshall. Their joint credits include *Chicago* (2002) and *Memoirs of a Geisha* (2005), both of which won him the Academy Award for Best Art Direction, as well as *Nine* (2009), *Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides* (2011) and *Mary Poppins Returns* (2018). Other production design credits include *X-Men* (2000), *Wanted* (2008), *X-Men: Days of Future Past* (2014), *The Great Wall* (2016) and *The Little Mermaid* (2023).
