John Nicholls is a Canadian picture editor based in Toronto. He is an alumnus of the Canadian Film Centre and an accredited member of the Canadian Cinema Editors, as well as a member of the Directors Guild of Canada.

Nicholls has edited episodes of the television series *Snowpiercer* (2020–), including work on its fourth season. Other credits include *SkyMed* (2022–2025), *Accused* (2023–2024), *Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent* (2024), *Little Dog* (2018) and earlier assistant editor roles on features such as *Forsaken* (2015) and *Sex After Kids* (2013). He has received multiple nominations for Canadian Screen Awards and Directors Guild of Canada awards.
