## Biography

John P. Goldsmith is an American production designer. A Boston native, he studied art history at Boston University and earned master’s degrees in design and architecture from Harvard University. He has worked in the art department on films including *No Country for Old Men* (2007) and *The Polar Express* (2004).

As production designer he has collaborated with director J.C. Chandor on *All Is Lost* (2013) and *A Most Violent Year* (2014), and on the series *The OA* (2016) and *Perry Mason* (2020). His other credits include *Chappaquiddick* (2017), *Boston Strangler* (2023) and *Rebel Ridge* (2024). He received an Emmy nomination for outstanding production design for *Perry Mason* and won Excellence in Production Design Awards for *John Adams* (2008) and *No Country for Old Men* (2008).
