## Biography

John Paino is an American production designer for film and television. His credits include the HBO series *The Last of Us* (2023), for which he received an Emmy nomination, as well as *Big Little Lies* (2017–2019), *Sharp Objects* (2018) and *The Morning Show* (2019).

Paino has designed several feature films, among them *Dallas Buyers Club* (2013), *Wild* (2014), *Kill the Messenger* (2014) and *Demolition* (2016). He is also credited as production designer on the forthcoming series *Sirens* (2025) and *Lanterns* (2026).

He has received four Primetime Emmy nominations in total for his production design work.
