## Biography

John Pardee is an American screenwriter and television producer. He wrote for the animated series *Doug* (1991) and several sitcoms in the 1990s, including *Cybill* and *The Crew*, on which he also served as a producer.

Pardee joined the writing staff of *Desperate Housewives* (2004) in its first season. He was promoted to co-executive producer in the second season and to executive producer from the fourth season onward, often working with Joey Murphy. He received a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Comedy Series as part of the production team for the first season.
