## Biography

John Paul Hammond, also known as John Hammond or John Hammond Jr., was an American composer and blues musician. He composed the music for the 1970 film *Little Big Man*, performing on guitar, harmonica and vocals, with the soundtrack release also featuring dialogue excerpts from the film.

Hammond received a BAFTA nomination for Best Original Music for *Little Big Man*. He contributed to other films, including soundtrack performances on *Two-Lane Blacktop* (1971) and composing the score for *Loose Ends* (1975) under the name John Paul Hammond.
