## Biography

John Roberts is an American actor, comedian and writer. He was born on 10 November 1971 in Brooklyn, New York.

Roberts voices Linda Belcher on the animated series *Bob's Burgers* (2011–present) and has voiced the character on *The Simpsons* (2018–2022) and in *The Bob's Burgers Movie* (2022). He voiced Xyler on *Gravity Falls* (2012–2015) and Bear on *The Great North* (2021). He also appeared in the film *Fire Island* (2022).

He first gained attention for YouTube videos including "The Christmas Tree" and "Jackie & Debra". Roberts has performed on tours with Margaret Cho and appeared on programmes including *Late Night with Jimmy Fallon* and *Comedy Bang! Bang!*.
