John Schuck is an American actor who has worked in film, television and theatre. Born Conrad John Schuck Jr. on 4 February 1940 in Boston, Massachusetts, he studied at Denison University and trained at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco.

He made his film debut as Capt. 'Painless' Waldowski in *M*A*S*H* (1970) and appeared in several other films directed by Robert Altman, including *McCabe & Mrs. Miller* (1971) as Smalley and *Thieves Like Us* (1974). On television he played Sgt. Charles Enright in *McMillan & Wife* (1971–1977) and Herman Munster in *The Munsters Today* (1988–1991). He is also known for portraying a Klingon Ambassador in *Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home* (1986) and *Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country* (1991), and for recurring roles in the *Law & Order* franchise.
