## Biography

John Schwartzman is an American cinematographer. Born in Los Angeles in 1960, he graduated from the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts in 1985 and is a member of the American Society of Cinematographers.

He has worked extensively with directors including Michael Bay, John Lee Hancock, Colin Trevorrow and Paul Feig. His credits include *Armageddon* (1998), *Pearl Harbor* (2001), *Seabiscuit* (2003), for which he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Cinematography, *The Amazing Spider-Man* (2012), *Jurassic World* (2015) and *The Housemaid* (2025).
