## Biography

John Shier is a natural history cinematographer specialising in wildlife sequences. He has contributed to several BBC series, including four episodes of *Planet Earth II* (2016) as cinematographer.

His other credits include *Untamed Americas* (2012), *Wild Yellowstone* (2015), additional photography on *Our Planet* (2019) and director of photography on *Dynasties* (2018). He is based in Livingston, Montana, and has worked extensively in remote locations for clients including the BBC, National Geographic and Netflix.

Shier has received a Primetime Emmy and multiple BAFTA awards and nominations for his work.
