## Biography

John Sorapure is a British cinematographer and second unit director of photography. He began working in television in the early 1990s as a news and current affairs cameraman before moving into documentary and comedy programming.

He has served as director of photography on series including *Inside No. 9* (2014–2020), *Ted Lasso* (2020–2021), *Code 404* (2020) and *Worzel Gummidge* (2019–2020). His feature credits include *Bunny and the Bull* (2009), *Horrible Histories: The Movie – Rotten Romans* (2019), *Click & Collect* (2018) and *The Wasp* (2024). He has also worked as second unit director of photography on *Barbie* (2023), *Wonka* (2023) and *The Little Mermaid* (2023).

Sorapure received seven Emmy Awards for his work on *Ted Lasso*.
