John Terlesky is an American television director and former actor. Born John Todd Terlesky on 30 May 1961 in Cincinnati, Ohio, he began acting in the mid-1980s with roles in films including *Chopping Mall* (1986) and *Deathstalker II* (1987), and television series such as *Legmen*.

Terlesky made his directorial debut co-directing the film *The Pandora Project* (1998). He has since directed episodes of numerous series, including *Boston Legal* (2004), *Grey's Anatomy* (2005), *Ugly Betty*, *Gossip Girl* (2007), *Castle* (2009), *Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.* (2013), *How to Get Away with Murder* (2014), *The Blacklist* (2013), *Criminal Minds* (2005) and *The Rookie* (2018).
