John Tracy is an American television director. His career in television began in 1969 as an associate director on the game show *What's My Line?*. He went on to direct episodes of series including *The Electric Company*, *Laverne & Shirley*, *Remington Steele*, *Who's the Boss?*, *Full House*, *Newhart*, *Family Matters* and *Boy Meets World*.

Tracy is particularly noted for directing 134 episodes of the sitcom *Growing Pains* (1985–1991). His later credits include episodes of *Still Standing*, *Yes, Dear*, *That's So Raven* and one episode of *NYPD Blue* (2001). He remained active as a director until 2006.
