John Wirth is an American television writer and producer. He began his career in the early 1980s as a writer on the series *Eight is Enough* and later served as a story editor and writer on *Remington Steele*.

Wirth has held producing and writing roles on numerous series, including executive producer on *Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles* (2008–2009), for which he also wrote episodes, *Ghost Whisperer*, *The District* and *Nash Bridges*.
