## Biography

Johnny Jewel (born John David Padgett) is an American record producer, composer and multi-instrumentalist. He founded the Italians Do It Better label in 2006 and is a member of the bands Glass Candy, Chromatics, Desire and Symmetry.

Jewel composed the score for Nicolas Winding Refn's *Bronson* (2009). His other film work includes the scores for *Lost River* (2015), *Home* (2016), for which he received the Georges Delerue Award, and *Zeroville* (2019). His music has also featured in the television series *Those Who Kill* (2014) and *Twin Peaks: The Return* (2017).
